I'm old school
I talk on my cell phone, use the ATM, order online, text message, e-mail, blog, post on Facebook and tweet. But, I still enjoy actual face time.
I like having lunch with a friend and catching up. I like getting my cash from a bank teller. I like trying on clothes before purchasing. I like playing with electronics before deciding which we need/want. I like throwing the bowling ball down the lane. I like hitting the ball with my tennis racquet. I like going to a dance performance. I like going to see the circus. I like sitting at the kitchen counter, while my kids snack. I like waking up to talk with my hubby, when he gets home from work.

Lent
Most Catholics will fast or give up some luxury during the forty days of Lent. My RCIA class chose a variation during the Lent prior to our confirmation. Instead of giving something up, we chose a daily commitment, in hopes of self-improvement (I wish I could remember what I had chosen). I think I will try this again. I commit to appreciating my family. And, to get me back into the blogging world, I'm going to commit to posting my appreciations.
